Ever since I got a watch, necklace and ring from Efva Attling I have been wearing them non-stop. The items are subtle, but very stylish and true compliment-getters. The Swedish born designer just recently opened her first store in the Meatpacking District in New York, with neighbors such as Alexander McQueen, Diane von Furstenberg, and Tory Burch.
Efva Attling calls her designs ‘beauty with a thought’ and that is exactly how I would describe her collection, especially the funky rings.
Fashion Networks is giving away one of those rings to one lucky winner (worldwide). All you need to do is:
1. Vote for your favorite funky ring here.
Paparazzi Ring – Fuck Off
Sans Peur Ring – Without Fear
Amor Fati Ring – The Love for our Destiny
2. Send an email with your name and address and the reason why you should win the ring to: efvaattling@fashionnetworks.se
The winner will be announced on Freshnet soon.

Fancy pants come with a fancy price tag, at least most of the time they do. The Isabel Marant tie dye jeans from her spring/summer 2012 collection are to die (or to dye?) for, though the price tag is pretty hefty for a pare of pants that is an easy do it yourself project. I am planning on making these myself next week, the bleach is ready to be used and I will show you the end result as soon as it’s done.

Slightly obsessed with this Dion Lee skirt Christine Centenera is wearing. I am completely and utterly in love with the way it is constructed and the combination of the crisp white with just the right lightness of grey. It works so well with the peeptoe booties and the silk (Equipment?) shirt.

They say opposites attract and I am a firm believer of that when it comes to getting dressed. Whether it is just a small contrast in the detailing like mixing a gold necklace with a silver watch, or in a more obvious way, like I am doing here with the heavy shoes and the light dress. I agree, this outfit is not something everyone would expect from me, but I like to keep surprising myself every now and then. I actually just tried on this dress for a recent ‘project’ I did (which will be on the blog sooner than later), but I liked it so much that I decided to keep it. ]
My dad thinks this outfit makes me look like a little bridesmaid in combat boots, my boyfriend thinks the look is ‘enchanting’. Either way, I feel like a little rockstar princess and I have been wearing it non-stop since I bought it three days ago.
On other notes, I have been getting so many questions and compliments about my new watch and necklace. They’re both from the Swedish jewellery designer Efva Attling.
Zara leather jacket, lace dress and boots, Efva Attling necklace and watch, Céline bag and Burberry sunglasses.

A New Years resolutions list is something that normally is ready before the new year starts. Now I am not really a New Years resolutions kind of girl, but I did come up with some goals for 2012. One of those goals is to be slightly more daring when it comes to my looks and add a few of the ‘unexpected’ to my wardrobe, while still sticking to my style. Starting of with these Zara boots, which are maybe a little heavy for me at first sight, but might work very well with the rest of the contents of my closet. Yes I was doubting at first, but as you can see I already took them out for a spin and the number one thing for me to see if I did a good buy is when I want to wear it immediately after I get home from shopping.
ps/ There are new outfit posts coming as soon as I can, it is just that I have been pretty sick for the last few days and you do not want to see what I am wearing when I am not feeling well.
