Queensday in Amsterdam is the only day we are allowed to sell our stuff on the streets. I decided to organize a super tiny Closet Affair with my two girls Caroline and Margot and give it a try. We got up at 4am to make sure we would be ready for the first customers that usually start bargain hunting around 5am. We had so much fun betting -while not being completely awake- on items that would go first and strangely never got sold.

All items that I did not sell are going to a good cause. See you next year?

The question that often pops up in interviews is what inspires me. To be honest, it is always different. I am not the one to be giving a cheesy answer like ‘I get inspiration from everywhere, anything’, but it does change all the time. One day I am obsessing over this, the other day I get an inspiration boost from that.

Since I moved in with my boyfriend last month, I am all about interior inspiration. I buy interior design magazines instead of fashion ones and I tent to pin most images into my Places and Spaces board on Pinterest for inspiration. I would describe my style as clean and modern, mixed with a bit of industrial, but I am in no way an expert in this area. All I know for sure is that I am currently dreaming of an all white bedroom and that I have a thing for ugly vases. There is probably going to be some small slices of our apartment on my blog soon but until then, my Pinterest will have to do.

This is what we can call an outfit randomly thrown on and even more randomly put together whilst in a hurry. Not to be getting all sentimental, but when I am stressed and trying to get ready in the morning I seem to pretend like I am going to get married. I grab something old -the jeans-, something new -the bag-, something borrowed -the shirt- and something blue -the boots.

I am by the way finally starting to feel a bit better now and catching up with the piles of work that needs to be done before the end of the year. Exciting things ahead!
