So I could go on about the importance of bringing notebooks, keeping your skin moisturized or wearing a watch during Fashion Week forever, but the most important necessity is being with good company. NSMBL‘s Anna has been my Fashion Week partner in crime for two seasons now and we just signed our contract for next season – just kidding, but we are definitely joining forces in 2013.
Tess – not pictured, but the one that took this lovely frame – joined us in New York and she is honestly the best company during hectic times one can wish for.
This is actually kind of a shout out to them, thank you for the giggles, lots of them. Next time, let us:
- Not fall in the middle of the street – on flat shoes that is
- Not loose an 800 dollar shoe (and then find it once home)
- Not wear the same thing as that girl across the road
- Not end up at the wrong show venue
- Not not end up at any show venue due to traffic at all
- Not get freaked out by the crazy – gone wrong – neighbour

Las Vegas treated me well – no money got lost – and I am having a fabulous time in San Fransisco at the moment. As it is past bedtime over here and we are planning to run the Golden Gate bridge in the morning (I am not sure if I can drag myself out of bed on time though) before playing super tourist and heading to Alcatraz, I am going to try to pass out now.

This is what I packed for my summer vacation to the USA. Shorts, shorts and more shorts, comfy sandals, tons of cute bikini’s and a tiny beach bag just to carry my tanning oil and sunglasses – and possibly a book. I like to keep everything as simple as I can while on a holiday, especially during a roadtrip. Getting dressed in the morning without even thinking feels refreshing like a dive in the ocean, particularly during Fashion Week season.
Las Vegas - Death Valley – Yosemite Park – San Fransisco – Monterey – Oxnard – Los Angeles, only four more places to drive to as we speak. Anything that I just can not miss?

Ever since I got this Hope jumper, I have been secretly living in it. It is warm, which made it perfect worn with shorts for the colder summer nights. And with fall officially hitting off tomorrow, I guess I am going to pull it off of my clothing rack – fully equipped with frequently worn pieces – even more often. It really does not need more than a pair of cool jeans – from Paige in this case – and I love pieces like that. We sure all know by now who makes the shoes.
