This month’s beauty bag is filled with nude nail polishes and a minimal look with a minimum amount of products. It is just too humid to paint the face, no?
Nail polishes in all kinds of nudes
I used to experiment with all kinds of colors on my nails, but I recently threw out the bright ones. Nude, more natural colors look great with a sun kissed skin and are therefor perfect for summer. From now on, I will only use those, plus a fire-y red, burgundy or black.
Eye treatment by Origins
You all know by now that I am a huge Origins fan and even though this eye treatment is meant to create a younger-looking me (I surely do not need that, as I still have to show my id when I go buy wine…), I like to use it too.
Random hair elastics
With the humid weather we are currently dealing with – hey, I am not complaining because at least we have sun! – I like to wear my hair in a simple ponytail. Just to keep it out of my neck and face.
Eyelash curler by Chanel
During summer, I like to wear as little make-up as possible and usually stick to a maximum of three or four products. Before I apply my mascara, I always use this friend.
I know maybe a dark brown mascara might look better on me, but I just can not let the pitch-black one go. I always pick a random mascara – which is whatever I can find in my make-up drawer – and then use it for a month or so before I pick the next random one. I like the Lancôme ones a lot though.
