AN ODE TO SNEAKERS

I am writing this as I just spent 3 days of wearing heels for at least 8 hours and a few miles a day. I love my heels and I have actually been wearing them more than ever lately. I even have some pairs that I dare to call completely comfortable, but there are only so many hours until any heel becomes unbearable.

And that is where the sneaker comes in. I do have to admit that sneakers quite often automatically make me feel too casual, no matter how chic the outfit (unless it involves slick tailoring in the form of a pant suit). And so when Meyba asked us to create a second edit with their newest collection (F/W15), we decided to take them to the street this time and mix them with upgraded casual (but not casual) looks with a slight hint of the 70’s. Because amongst other trends, the 70’s are still quite hot this season.

    1. I think it totally depends on the fabric/texture of the skirt and the length of it (and your own legs ofcourse).

  3. Great sporty touches! Love sneakers to add a sporty air to more formal outfits.
