SHORTS SUIT

Super late update today, but I just came back from playing a stylist all day for a project that is going to be launched October 11th. Mark your calenders, it is going to be awesome. The suit jacket is from Maison Martin Margiela, shorts are vintage, American Apparel t-shirt and the sunglasses are Linda Farrow. ph/ Lisa Galesloot

LOWLANDS

I guess you could say we have our very own Coachella in the Netherlands, for twenty years Lowlands has been the festival of festivals. This was the first time for me being able to go and it all started at the Converse Compound. Seeing Ben Howard – after dancing to the tunes of Django Django – do his thing on stage could be described as magical, goosebumps head to toe. I have to say my weekend could not have taken off any better than this, shitloads of fun!

BLACK AND WHITE

These shots might as well have been in black and white, since this look does not contain any color whatsoever. It is something I tend to go back to each and every time. Not that I am allergic to color, but for when one does not want to over think in the morning, it is the easiest to use none. I was wearing a leather jacket from Diesel, 7 For All Mankind shorts, Acne boots, and H&M shirt. ph/ Lisa Galesloot

BURGUNDY

Remember this? Well, I went for burgundy ones instead of black.

OLDIE BUT GOODIE

These shoes are probably the oldest pair I own. I bought them a few years ago without knowing I could never throw them away. I am really all about rotation when it comes to my closet and because I give, sell and sometimes throw so many items away I do not own an over’stuffed’ closet. These shoes are the only thing that survived all those years and every now and then they make an appearance on my blog. I was wearing a Maison Martin Margiela blazer, Samsoe & Samsoe shirt, jeans from Dr Denim and old Zara shoes. ph/ Lisa Galesloot

STREET CHIC

This picture was taken back in February during New York Fashion Week while exiting the Rodarte show and going through those pictures reminded me of what a simple coat in a statement color can accomplish. For fall, I will go on the hunt for that perfect friend that will keep me warm…in mustard yellow or burgundy pretty please.

SCARF

A beautiful scarf can do so much for an outfit, whether it is used to spice up a cool hat, wrapped around your hair or thrown on as a sun cover up. This one from Style by Marina can be used for all kinds of things you can think off, with its gorgeous print and lightweight fabric.
