TIME FOR KNITS

Ever since I got this Hope jumper, I have been secretly living in it. It is warm, which made it perfect worn with shorts for the colder summer nights. And with fall officially hitting off tomorrow, I guess I am going to pull it off of my clothing rack – fully equipped with frequently worn pieces – even more often. It really does not need more than a pair of cool jeans – from Paige in this case – and I love pieces like that. We sure all know by now who makes the shoes.

TOMMY HILFIGER x BLAUER

Remember those 24 hours I spent in Firenze last June for the limited edition Tommy Hilfiger x Blauer collaboration? The jackets are out now and I got the ‘military’ inspired one with very chic royal blue lining. Can not wait to wear it when it gets a tiny little bit colder. Maybe in Paris?

FASHION WEEK ESSENTIALS /3

On a regular working day, I could not care less about time. I do wear a watch on a daily basis, but I frequently forget to look at it and then often realize around 3pm that I have not even had lunch yet. During Fashion Week it is the complete opposite and I become obsessed with time. I am that kind of person that stresses out when public transport arrives one minute late – as if it is going to go any faster when I stress or start screaming. I am also that kind of person that still thinks all shows start on time. None of them really do, but better be safe then sorry, right? Watch by Juicy Couture.

BURBERRY LIVESTREAM

Unfortunately I will not be attending London Fashion Week this season, but Burberry makes it up to me by letting me live stream their show. Make sure to tune in over here on Monday the 17th at 4pm London time. Enjoy!

DIESEL BLACK GOLD

Sophia Kokosalaki’s latest and last work for Diesel Black Gold kind of blew my mind. She – together with a few other designers this season – got inspired by the nineties. An overall black and white collection, with little hints of baby blue and a graffiti print. Black blazers, perforated leather, open knitted dresses and edgy skirts – ah, those skirts! The only thing that did not have to happen in my eye, was the fringed shoes.

TO 3.1 PHILLIP LIM

Another ensemble from during New York Fashion Week. I just got back in Amsterdam, but my head is still in the Big Apple, hailing cabs, shooting street style, attending shows, trying hats on at the Marc Jacobs store in between. There is still a lot of things from the past amazing week to be posted here, but I have to organize everything first. Unpack, repack for my holiday to the USA… I was wearing a blazer and leather shorts from H&M, clutch from Minusey, a barely there necklace from Luv Aj and J.W. Anderson shoes. ph/ Anna Nooshin
