PINK!

As any true devotee of Mean Girls knows, on Wednesdays we wear pink. Now I haven’t been really wearing lots of pink on Wednesdays before, but it has been slowly making its entrance into my wardrobe.

Up next in our series of sharing summer snaps (to try and hold on to sunny weather?) is Louise Rasmussen, PR and Communication Manager at Acne Studios, who went from Oslo to Amsterdam, Palma to Paris and Los Boliches to Berlin.

ACNE ARCHIVE

I am not one to promote every other stock and/or sample sale. Some are just not worth sharing and others are best to be kept to myself. But this one I have to throw right at you. On May 6th, Acne Archive – I repeat, Acne Archive – will open its online doors (SUBSCRIBE TODAY to be the first one to shop!) filled with a handpicked selection of Acne Studios classics and exclusives from previous seasons at up to 75% off. I have been to their store in both Stockholm and Copenhagen (there’s also one in Oslo) before and it’s totally and utterly worth it.

EDITOR’S NOTE, PAS DE PARIS

It feels a bit strange that I won’t be in Paris for Fashion Week this season, I have to admit. I wasn’t in London or Milan either and while I am super bummed about it, trust me when I say my reason of embracing my fomo for once is super legit. And I am sorry for teasing, it’s something I won’t be able to share just yet. But hey, at least I went to New York! Not completely sure if that was the best choice weather wise, since the first thing I say when people ask me ‘how was New York?’ is ‘Cold!!!’. I did get to see some amazing shows and I am feeling quite inspired for the new season. Which by the way – according to the weather report – is unofficially starting next week. Plus, I got to spend some time with friends that I don’t get to see all the time. But let’s talk about our wardrobes and the new season, Spring!

WHAT I WORE IN NEW YORK

I was planning on doing a huge New York Fashion Week diary and share all my photos in one single neverending post (would have been fun, wouldn’t it?), but I changed my mind right when I felt how cold it was. I knew that it would be impossible to take proper (and enough) photos outside and so I gave up and will save that for September. Not for Paris? Nope, New York was my one and only Fashion Week this season and while I feel pretty bummed about it – fomo (fear of missing out) alert! – I have a super good excuse and I will tell you all about it as soon as I can. Anyway, I Googled myself (yep, I did) and thought it would be fun to share some pictures – taken by the street style bunch that did brave the cold – of what I wore, apart from shoulder to ankle heat tech to stay warm.

THE PERFECT BELT

Yep, this is my first new thing after starting the 5 Piece Wardrobe regime on January 1st. If you think about it, it’s 5 pieces in 6 months so it mustn’t be that hard, right? It’s basically one piece a month (almost). And even though this is over my price limit (I set my limit at 100 euros) when it comes to accessories that count as basics, I do count this perfect belt by Acne Studios as a basic. Why?
