CLEAN SLATE

For a little while, I have been wanting it all, craving for everything. I even wanted that Mickey Mouse printed t-shirt when I saw Yasmin Sewell wearing it, which is utterly and completely not my cup of tea. And that anchor studded jacket by Acne Studios, but that one is a more obvious choice, obviously.

YASMIN SEWELL

Oh gosh, do I just love this woman’s hair. And her elegance. And her glasses. And her coat. Yes, so pretty much everything.

YASMIN SEWELL

A PROPER CHOP

I don’t know if anyone of you noticed, but my hair is getting longer. It has been months since I last visited a hairdresser, even since I secretly chopped a bit off myself. The thing is that I am both lazy at making appointments in that category (the dentist, spa, nail salon (I had to file off my own shellac once), the gym (ok, one does not really have to make an appointment for that, but still)) ├índ super scared of hairdressers. Mine kind of helped me grow over it a tiny bit, but now that I am in LA, I feel like I have to start all over again. A medium to cropped length blunt chop would be my ideal do, no layers, no fuss. The only problem is, most hairdressers do love layers. Last time I told one I wanted a blunt chop, I ended up with more layers than I could have ever imagined. He almost gave me bangs, really. Now if even Yasmin Sewell’s curls can look like they are bluntly chopped, it mustn’t be so hard to do the same with my super straight non-voluminous hair. Wanted, a great hairdresser anywhere in LA that does not charge hundreds and can do a simple medium to cropped length blunt chop. Something a little like the image underneath, though a tad bit longer (shoulder length?) and way wayyy messier. I have added some extra inspiration to my .BEAUTY board on Pinterest.
