It is my birthday today, which means I have been carrying around my Céline Luggage bag gym bag for almost two years now. I promised myself to only buy one ‘real’ bag a year, one that I am truly, madly, deeply in love with. That did not really happen last year, nothing gave me enough butterflies, but I am having my hopes up high for this year.

The Céline Classic Box bag might be a good option, I love the classic shape of it (it will last for years and years, maybe even forever!), but I have not fallen in love enough to ignore that hefty price tag just yet. The baby blue Givenchy I recently bumped into also is a serious a stunner, but the baby blue (=gets dirty very easily) is stopping me from getting it. It might be worth another trip to the store that carries it in Amsterdam to just stop and stare at it.

The problem with me though is that I always stop and stare a tad bit too long. It usually takes a ‘sold out’ sign to make me realize I really wanted to have that thing I was craving for, whether it is a bag or a pair of shoes. Then I go crazy and search in every city, any country, call all stores, until I get my hands on it (which happened with the Balenciaga’s) or simply have to give up.

Hmm, this makes me think about that really (read: really!) nice green suede bag I saw in Milan but did not bring home because I could not make a decision and Paris was still waiting for me. Should I stop doubting all the time and go for it? What if I regret right after swiping my card? Oh well, being allowed to get just one bag a year does not mean I am obliged to get one a year. Problems, problems…how do you usually deal with these doubts?

As you might have noticed, I am always attracted to either a quite manly shoe or a super sexy shoe. These from the Armani spring/summer 2013 collection (which I shot at the Armani showroom) are obviously on the super sexy side.
