After skipping one full day – laying in bed trying to overcome some sort of food poisoning – it felt good to step into what felt like a giant slush puppy – oh, hi Nemo! – for Lacoste. Lots of oohs and aaahs, I totally loved it! Over the years, the Lacoste crocodile has definitely transformed (in a very very good way) and for next fall, Felipe Oliveira Baptista forecasts a feminine sporty chic look in greens, whites and a dash of orange. Greens that reminded me of that particular crocodile, which comes to no surprise as Baptiste used founder René Lacoste (and his patent of the piqué polo in the 20s) as his muse for this collection.

Ah, and the patent leather chelsea boots, gorgeous!

  1. Wauw, super collectie. Lacoste is de afgelopen jaren zoveel beter geworden! Mooi dat geruite ensemble, doet me denken aan de blazer van Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collectie met de onafgewerkte naden.
