This is the last time you will see me wearing that white quilted clutch and those round framed sunglasses, since these picture were taken right before my bag was taken. Last day, last hour in Paris and even though I am very well aware of the fact that metro stop Charles de Gaulle – Étoile is pickpockets central, it still happened. I did not feel anything, but I know exactly who snatched my clutch and all I can say is that I hope she is happy with her catch of the day…

I was used to pickpockets when I lived in madrid, now that I live in a small German town I’m all carefree… until I visit a big town, like Paris or London and I believe everyone want to stole my purse… I’m kind of paranoic now. I guess you get easily used to the good things of small towns… Anyway, I guess it’s time for you to buy a new gorgeous clutch! Let’s stay positive!

I can only imagine the anger you feel , I live in Paris and i’m ever worried about having my bag snatched.   9. I live in Barcelona and I rarely wear clutches because they are just too easy to steal. I only wear them when I am with my boyfriend who is a fast runner :) I am sorry to hear that it happened to you, but they make a great outfit anyway!

  18. That really really sucks, I’m so sorry. Taking the opportunity of this comment: I’m also sorry that I’ve become completely unable to identify with your style. You used to be my number 1 inspiration, but you have changed so much lately! Please don’t take this as criticism, it’s normal for a person’s personal style to evolve – I’m just saying it evolved completely away from mine, and I think away from a lot of your original readers. I miss my old source of inspiration.

    • @astrid i am so curious to hear how you feel her style has changed? i mean i too am a follower and realise that Sabrinas style has evolved but i am just wondering what it is exactly that you miss ?

      • I don’t know – she just used to come across a lot sleeker. She used to dress with an androgynous edge, which I loved, but now masculinity has completely taken over. Partly it’s because of the Balenciaga shoes. They really, truly bother me and she almost always wears them. Which is fine, it is 100% up to her to wear whatever is in her heart, but I simply cannot reconcile with them. Also, it’s in little details like mixing her camel coat with grey.

          • I am glad to hear I’m not the only one who doesn’t care for the Balenciaga shoes! Besides being a little too chunky for my taste, I also simply do not understand how cut-out boots can be functional… wouldn’t ones ankles be cold all of the time?

            I still think Sabrina’s overall look is quite chic, and as she goes through phases with her clothing, I’m sure the Balenciaga emphasis will stop eventually… haha. But definitely still a big fan of the blog.

  35. Oh Sabrina that is so horrible! A gypsy took my phone from my pocket after the Kenzo show – I didn’t even feel it but luckily one of my friends saw and grabbed it back. They were certainly out in force during FW. Hope you had insurance xx

  70. How awful about the bag. Still you have to feel sorry for people that sad. As difficult as it is to not be so annoyed about it, it is wasting time thinking about them. Its energy wasted on them, and they don’t deserve to take any more from you. You are the one who can buy a New bag when you so wish and they resort to horrible things that will serve them no happiness or fulfilment. What you put out you get back so they are very empty unhappy people and no good can come to someone like that. Hope a equally lovely bag finds its way to you soon :)
