Warmer days, though still very prodigious, call for a change of coats. Some of you recall that I have one of the best coat collections ever and I find that a huge compliment, but for spring/summer, I could use a little expansion here and there.
There is the leather jacket and then there is another leather jacket. And another one. Oh, and I have this navy blue long number from Rodebjer that I absolutely adore. The thing is though that one can have a gazillion numbers of something, you always want something you do not have. Especially when all of your friends do seem to have it, it is like a live version of a ‘to buy’ list that makes sure your memory keeps memorizing it.
For me it is a parka. I do not own a perfect parka – let alone own any – and I never really bumped into a nice one that was worth filling my shopping cart with either. Maybe it is not in my system, maybe my system is filled up with leather jackets already. And maybe that system is right and it is trying to tell me that a parka is not meant for me, not even a perfect one. I mean, how many coats and jackets does one need anyway?
Still, I want one.
