It’s September and that means we are going to experience a whole lot of fashion in the next few weeks. I am starting a bit fancy this time by flying to Venice for its Film Festival tomorrow. Then after a few days at ‘home’, I am heading to New York, followed by London – skipping Milan (since I already did Stockholm) – and Paris.
Some Fashion Week colleagues travel for a whole month, I always like to go home for a day in between every city to mostly do laundry and exchange luggage contents. Seriously, I would not know how to pack for a month running from show to showroom to hotel to coffee break and back to show.
In between all of this, I am packing for my long time trip abroad. Pff, it is a hard knock life, no?
At first, I was a bit stressed having an endless to-do list, but now that all dates get closer, everything slowly starts to fall in place and I am more than ready for this madness!
Now that I emptied my closet a little bit, old favorites are making a comeback. Like this beautiful blazer from the Scandinavian label Dagmar, it is so soft I can not even explain. Now that the sun is shining just a tiny bit more often, it gets easier for me to wear an outfit that does not contain any black -except for the heels of my shoes that is. Though black is clearly one of my favorite colors when it comes to getting dressed in the morning, I know that something lighter looks way more refreshing on me.
LNA top, Dagmar blazer, Nowhere pants and J.W. Anderson x Aldo shoes.
ps/ It is better not to ask how I got up on that ramp wearing these heels.
Spent the weekend strolling around Amsterdam and Utrecht and I found this hat to accompany me. Never really found the perfect floppy hat, since the ones that are round on top don’t fit me and my style very well. I think this one does and it’s a classier way to keep the head warm than with a beanie.
COS t-shirt, Dagmar blazer, Queens Wardrobe coat, Samsoe & Samsoe leather pants, Kurt Geiger bag, Alexander Wang boots and H&M hat.
