After being lazy for a week or so and taking a day off to spend at the happiest place on earth – Disneyland! – I am back to work mode and back in my work mode uniform.
Hair in a quick – mostly messy – bun, clothes that are comfy yet chic enough for meetings (or a quick soy cappuccino around the block and a run to the copy shop for that instance), go go go!
It is barely anything special, one of the many getting-dressed-without-having-to-think ensembles I have lined up in my brain that just work.
PS: Another pretty important advantage about this one is that it doesn’t require any ironing, since the shirt is nearly invisible.
PPS: To all Dutch readers, Happy Sinterklaas! Send me some pepernoten will you?
Ah, December already, one of my favorite months of the year just because of its instant coziness. Makes me crave for liters of hot chocolate, curling up in front of a fireplace (not mine, I don’t have any), cuddling with whoever I can cuddle, etc.
This year it is going to be quite different though. With the weather being all warm which is super weird for me.
Ok, time for The Holiday Issue!
PS: On other totally random notes, I finally got myself the blunt chop I was going for…kind of (maybe I should even go a little shorter). Whenever I am nowhere near the only hairdresser I trust, I get my hands on a pair of scissors and go for a #selfiecut. It obviously isn’t as professional as they do in the salon, but it will do for now. (Sorry hairdresser. You are going to have to fix whatever I did wrong when I get back to Amsterdam in January.)
Au revoirParis! After more than a month of almost non-stop traveling I am back home in Amsterdam for some days. Days that I am going to fully dedicate on a fashion detox. My back and shoulders are a little sore from all the camera lifting and suitcase dragging, so I went for a deep tissue/RSI-combat massage first this morning.
Other than that, I am going to drink liters and liters of green tea (no more croissant and meringue for me!) and go running like a mad woman to get rid of the croissants, pains au chocolat and meringues sticking to my behind.
