Packing for short trips can be a true pain in the *ss, but now that I am doing it more frequently, I am starting to get the hang of it. I used to really overpack, but dragging all the luggage around is an even bigger pain in the *ss than packing it – especially when you live on the fourth floor and you don’t have an elevator, I can tell you that.

I just packed my bags – just one I promise! – for a two day trip to Sweden to finish the project I was talking about (but not really talking about) in my newsletter. The ‘outfit’ pictured above is something I usually wear in the plane, a simple look that is mostly very comfy.

These are the random, but very necessary things I take with me. I used to keep a list of these things, because I literally always forget something – mostly my business cards – but now that I travel more frequently I have that list printed in the back of my head.
