This is my third and almost last day in the beautiful Barcelona and I am super sad to be flying back to normal life (and ugh, rain plus cold) in Amsterdam tomorrow in the afternoon. My flight is around 1pm, so I will have an hour or two in the morning to do anything I want. Because it has been so so long since I last visited, I could use some recommendations. What would you do if you got to spend one hour of free time here?

Hmm, maybe I should just go and iron my shirt?

Being torpadoed straight into summer is even better than (hello, we are still waiting!!) for spring. It only took a 1 hour and 45 minute flight to get me there and by ‘there’ I mean Barcelona. The only downside of it is that it normally takes a whole spring for me to get ready for the sun to fully come out. I mean, I still have to work on my abs – and all kinds of other body parts – a bit before I dare to set foot outside in a bikini. But let us safe all the getting physically ánd mentally ready for summer stuff for another post…maybe.

Anyway, I am spending four days with Mango in the city that has it all to pre-experience summer and this will probably make – more than – up for the spring I believe Amsterdam and a lot of other European cities are missing out on this year.

Behold, the horror in the silk pants category. This thing is impossible to iron and the real horror comes when you jump on your bike in the morning, arrive at the office only to come to the conclusion the thing is all back to its wrinkled state.

The thing is though, it is so soft it feels like I am wearing pajama’s. Beautifully colored pajama pants. And that is a must when you are so busy -working on the most amazing projects- your to do list does not only seem endless, it actually is.

I was wearing an American Apparel t-shirt, silk pants from COS, Mango sandals and a necklace from Style by Marina.
