TORTOISE

Some might say I have the best collection of coats, I like to think the same goes for my sunglasses. I developed this ‘thing’ for sunglasses in an early stage of life, when I used to buy all kinds of sunglasses while on vacation for what seemed just for the sake of buying them.

One day, I decided it was time to just throw them all out and keep one or two classics that would go with everything for the rest of my life. A few years later, there is not much left of this rigorous decision of mine.

I somehow completely unconsciously built up an even bigger collection than before. My newest addition being this super cool tortoise shell one from Filippa K, which will be available in stores from the end of May, gosh I am such weak person when it comes to limited edition things.

Oh well…

WEATHER APPROPRIATE?

It has been raining cats and dogs outside for a couple of days now and here I am, sitting inside, wondering when I will be able to wear my new sunglasses.

Cutler and Gross sunglasses (via Monnier Frères).

SHADES

Another Berlin find are these sunglasses I found at the vintage section at American Apparel. It seems like the addiction for sunglasses I had when I was around thirteen years old is growing back on me. This shape -and not to mention color- is something I did not own just yet and works great with for example a minty green leather top.

SHOWPONY

The funny thing about mirrored sunglasses is that they show a tiny bit of where the picture is taken, and and a tiny bit of the photographer. Which is a tripod…yes.

Rag & Bone sunglasses.

LINDA FARROW

So in love with my new sunglasses from Linda Farrow and beautiful scarf from Rika that I almost wanted to sleep in them…
